COURT SCENE
We originally planned to include a court scene in our short film of the injured drink driver being prosecuted by a judge for their crime of killing a girl, however due to access issues we believe we are unable to use or gain entry to the court house we thought about using in Crawley as there is no certainty that the public is allowed in to the building. To counter this issue we have instead decided that our character, whilst laying in their hospital bed whilst recalling flashbacks of the events of the accident, will be approached by the police at their bedside and asked questions to which the film ends.
CHARACTER GENDER CHANGE
At first we planned to use a male main character to play the part of the drink driver who causes an accident and kills someone however we have been unsuccessful to find an appropriate actor who would have needed to be able to drive to play the part. To remedy this issue we have decided to change the main character to female in which we have a choice of actresses to choose from who are able to drive and are available to film, this will not greatly effect our film as the clear message of drink driving remains the same anyway.
