Little White Lies magazine always have an image at the top of every review they do, the picture is taken from the film that they are reviewing and is normally of an important scene, or one that represents the theme of the film, in this case the gun in the image is a semantic code for a thriller genre film. The picture measures 168mm in width and 70mm in height, this is the same throughout all the little white lies reviews. The image is also central and takes up nearly half of the size of the page making it stand out.
